As a TBI survivor who has worked as an LMHC since 2015, I bring a distinct, lived perspective and professional expertise that help you deepen your understanding of working with brain-injured clients. Meet one-on-one or join a small group to learn practical tools, clear communication strategies, and hands-on approaches for supporting brain injury survivors and their families more effectively. These sessions will provide concrete strategies, clearer confidence, and compassionate skills to facilitate recovery for your patients or clients.
Consultations are especially well suited for doctors, therapists, and coaches who work directly with brain-injured individuals and their loved ones and who want tailored guidance, case-specific recommendations, and support in navigating complex recovery challenges.

In 2006 I survived a severe car crash with a traumatic brain injury, fractured skull, and broken neck and jaw. That experience — and my own recovery — shaped my work today.
I’ve served as an Urban Zen Therapist at UCLA, a Mindfulness Instructor at Seattle Brainworks, a presenter at the Washington State TBI Conference, an ongoing teacher at Brain Northwest, and a yoga teacher since 2008. Every brain injury is different, and I bring that lived understanding to help you build a personalized path to recovery.

Contact me for a free 15-minute phone consult — if I’m not the right fit, I’ll help you find someone who is.
I accept major credit cards, checks, and cash. Please cancel at least 48 hours before a session to avoid charges; missed sessions without 48 hours’ notice are billed at the regular rate. Short calls are free; longer calls are billed at the session rate.
You pay out of pocket — I can’t guarantee insurance reimbursement. Contact your insurance before our first session to check coverage and out-of-network benefits; I can provide a receipt for reimbursement. I’m in-network with Lyra, an EAP program — confirm with your employer if this benefit applies to you.
